Supervision
Supervising others is a valuable part of Lena’s collaborative practice
As a supervisor, Lena offers space to debrief, unpack, explore and reflect on your work practice. She will work to collaborate with you on maintaining a steady headspace and empathetic practice, ensuring that you feel supported and confident while in training.
Professional supervision is offered for both individuals and for teams of workers in human service organisations.
Lena believes professional supervision is central to the reflection and learning necessary for the development of a good human service practitioner. Lena works with trainee practitioners in the following ways:
Sharing extensive professional experience
Creating and maintaining work-life balance habits
Assisting in the prevention of vicarious traumas
Keeping you accountable to professional standards

Lena has 15 years’ experience providing supervision for students at QUT and Griffith University, as well as for those working across the sector.
